I’M SKYLAR, BUT MY FRIENDS CALL ME SKY
Skylar is an Art Director and Senior Spatial Designer, currently full time at STURDY.CO. He is based in Los Angeles and specializes in stage design, large scale art installations, interior design, brand activations and furniture. He largely credits his parents for instilling a deep love for live music, taking him to concerts and festivals throughout his upbringing.
Today, Skylar aims to blend artistic concepts with design and technical understanding. His architectural education at UCLA and 10 years of working experience informs his ability to translate bold ideas into tangible realities. From music festival stages with The DoLaB at Coachella, to Perron-Roettinger Studio, where they collaborated with Rihanna, Travis Scott, Skims, and Rosalia, or leading creative across brand activations at Blue Revolver... Skylar is constantly inspired by the ways music, culture, and architecture constantly amplify each other.
